Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministry is “Christ caring for people through people”. The Stephen Ministers receive intensive training in “helping skills”. We visit people who are in crisis situations and those who feel the need for support and encouragement. All contacts are confidential. Do you know of someone who would benefit from a one-to-one Christian caring relationship or if you would like to become a Stephen Minister call Mary Ellen Duvarney at 770-921-7847, Sharon Umbarger at 770-921-8764, or Richard Ferris at 770-921-1056

St. Vincent de Paul
Using the Jubilee message of love and by being good stewards of resources available to us St. Stephens St. Vincent de Paul Society members assist people who find themselves in a temporary crisis situation. This usually involves financial need but may also include social or transportation needs. The work of the Society is open to people of all ages and occupations. No special skills are required, only a desire to help…”Change Lives…One at a Time.” If you think you would like to increase your spirituality by responding to Christ's command to feed and shelter the less fortunate in our midst, please call Rich Loibl at 770-923-7303. We invite you to attend our meetings, which are held the second Tuesday of each month.
